ausculta
a place to
be, listen and watch. and to talk.
selection: matías rossi
video: daniela cugliandolo
currently, the section ausculta continues with its tradition of
journeying through some outstanding poetry from its origins in
the 1950s, with authors such as bernard heidsieck and henri
chopin, to the late seventies. it is a selection compiled by
matías rossi where the intention is to illustrate the revolution
of sound poetry introducing several technological elements as
well and integrating popular culture in the field of sound
creation. it also rescues some main works not often within reach
of the general public. the event will be complemented by some of
daniela cugliandolo’s videographic creations, where each single
piece has been worked separately with the intention of enhancing
them. the result is a sound and visual collage which passes for
being an audition of historical pieces together with an update
of some pioneer experiments in the sound poetry area. many of
them are the first to use multitracks and other technological
novelties in the poetry world. like last year, ausculta aims to
be a space where the public can go and discover an updated
version of the most hidden historical fragments of poetry, yet
in a relaxed atmosphere, and with the possibility of meeting
people and establishing links and an ongoing social intercourse. |
