segona
PROPOSTA
(festival internacional de poesies+polipoesies) ja trepitja un camí
en part traçat. la primera edició, tot just fa un any,
es va tancar amb un balanç del tot positiu. i això és
tan sols l'inici. o una parada més d'un viatge al voltant de
les pràctiques poètiques contemporànies que PROPOST
(Projectes Poètics Sense Títol) ha anat esbossant des
de fa anys i que, ara com ara, du el nom de PROPOSTA i el format d'un
festival anual. sigui com sigui, la poesia omple els carrers i ho
fa amb unes formes que, malgrat que desterrades dels paranimfs, són
la més viva presència del neguit poètic. a barcelona
i arreu.
en aquesta segona edició, hem volgut seguir els postulats que
ens vam marcar l'any passat: donar una visió àmplia
i oberta de la poesia actual, la que s'obre camins o en refà
de vells, i no només a través dels recitals en directe,
sinó també amb projeccions, conferències i exposicions.
a més, aquest any hem volgut incidir més en les propostes
més emergents, per la qual cosa hem volgut convidar alguns
poetes estrangers que fa ben poc que han començat a publicar,
i entrar en alguns terrenys fronterers poc explorats pels poetes a
barcelona, com el hip-hop o la slam poetry. en definitiva, un menú
que, tot i que anual, suficient per entendre què fem a hores
d'ara amb la poesia entre les mans.
tan sols voldria destacar la mostra dedicada a les partitures de la
poesia sonora, veus en paper, una mostra coproduïda amb la schule
für dichtung (escola de poesia) de viena. es tracta d'una mostra
molt important, ja que, a través de poetes vius, repassa les
diverses i molt diverses fesomies de la poesia sonora i alhora en
teixeix una aproximació històrica. és, a més
a més, una de les poques oportunitats de veure com materialitzen
els poetes sonors allò que sembla no tenir paraules.
i el festival creix. d'una banda, per l'estreta col·laboració
que des d'enguany mantenim amb la schule für dichtung de viena,
una institució independent cabdal a Àustria i que ha
sabut despertar l'interès per allò que insisteixo a
anomenar "les pràctiques poètiques contemporànies".
i de l'altra, més ençà, perquè PROPOSTA
s'incorpora a la xarxa de festivals de tardor associats de barcelona,
juntament amb el festival LEM, el festival de músiques contemporànies,
el festival improvisa i la temporada avuimúsica, per crear
una temporada de tardor de barcelona eminentment sonora que comença
a l'octubre i que finalitza al desembre justament amb aquest festival
que ara obre les pàgines.

the second one
PROPOSTA
(festival internacional de poesies+polipoesies) is stepping on a partly
drawn path. the first festival finished a great success just one year
ago. and this is only the beginning. one more stop in a trip around
contemporary poetical practices which PROPOST (Projectes Poètics
Sense Títol - poetical projects with no title) has been outlining
for years. nowadays it's called PROPOSTA and takes place every year
as a festival. However viewed, poetry fills the streets in shapes
of poetical eagerness despite being sometimes away from assembly halls.
in barcelona and elsewhere.
this year we want to follow the principles we established last year;
that is giving open sight to present poetry, whether innovating or
rewriting what's been done. also we agreed we shouldn't only offer
live readings but also projections, talks and exhibitions. furthermore
this year we want to put the stress on the newly emerging projects.
we've invited some new poets from abroad who will allow us to enter
unexplored fields by poets from barcelona, such as hip-hop or slam
poetry. overall we could say we offer a small menu -if only once a
year- that shows what it's being served these days when it comes to
poetry.
i would like to highlight the part dedicated to the sound poetry scores,
veus en paper (voices in paper) which has been co-produced with the
schule für dichtung (school of poetry) of vienna. it's a very
important event as we'll have the opportunity to go through many different
aspects of sound poetry and develop a historical approach through
actual poets. thus it will become one of the only chances to see how
sound poets materialise what seems not to have words.
and the festival grows. on the one hand thanks to the collaboration
offered this year by the schule für dichtung of vienna, an independent
institution of great importance in austria that managed to create
interest in what we call contemporary poetical practices. on the other
hand the festival is growing as PROPOSTA joins the net of associated
autumn festivals in barcelona, together with the LEM festival, the
contemporary music festival, the "improvisa" festival and
the "avuimúsica" festival. thus these net of festivals
will contribute to create an eminent sound autumn in barcelona, beginning
in october and ending in decembre, just finishing the festival that
now it's opening its pages.
